“The Twilight Saga’s” Robert Pattinson was honored with a mega award for best performance at the British National Movie awards. The British National Movie 2010 award ceremony winners were voted on by fans. Fans have voted their favorite vampire flick star Pattinson above veteran Hollywood movie stars Robert Downey Jr. in “Sherlock Holmes” and Leonardo DiCaprio for “Shutter Island.” Fellow Twilight Saga costars Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart also fell short of a win as did “Harry Potter” stars, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.
Sporting his so very sexy new hair cut, Pattinson accepted the award via video from the Los Angeles set of his latest film project “Water For Elephants.” Pattinson is presently costars with Reese Witherspoon, but took time away from his work to deliver a lovely acceptance speech. In his acceptance speech via video, Pattinson thanks his adoring fans for voting for him and “everything ‘Twilight.'”
It was awards all around for the tremendous ‘Twilight Saga’ flick as “New Moon” won for best fantasy and “Eclipse” took the honor for the most anticipated summer movie. Watch his acceptance speech here. OMG!
